A damping plate is a thin sheet made of damping material, which is used on vehicle sheet metal. It is composed of butyl rubber and composite metal aluminum foil to form a vehicle shock absorber material, which belongs to the category of damping and shock absorption.
The high damping properties of butyl rubber make it a damping layer for reducing vibration waves. Generally, the sheet metal material of vehicles is relatively thin, which is prone to vibration during driving, high-speed driving, and bumps.
After being filtered by the shock-absorbing rubber, the waveform changes and weakens, achieving the goal of reducing noise. It is a widely used and efficient automotive sound insulation material.
